that doesn't seem like the pic for our trucks.. our y-pipe connects and runs down the right side of the vehicle, not left as shown...

either way if ppl have installed this on a 4x4 here on the forums, im sure they would install on a 6.2

the ebay add says
07-up gmt 900, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0, 2 and 4wd, except 6.2
6.2 needs bigger primaries and collectors

you will need 02 extensions and way to turn off sel or rear 02's

I've got American Racing Headers with Cat's. I'm extremely pleased. The quality of the header is great also. very thick flanges and you can get the header in two different size primaries. 1-3/4 or 1-7/8. great welds, but what impressed me was the time taken to port out the primary openings or debur them. very nice and clean headers. only I wish I could gotten them ceramic coated from american racing

Im considering OBX for my Tahoe. They are cheap! They have the fake cats and Im sure they perform better than stock manifolds

GmOnEy Z71, What year is your truck? 03-05 model? Any more pics of your truck? Looks bad ***!

After seeing these I would definitely recommend those. I wonder if they fit the NBS trucks?
Those headers are a good 4 inches shorter than my American Racing headers. And the collector is not near as Aggressive. That is probably a difference in 10hp and 15lbs. I gained 40hp and 28lbs to the wheels with my kit. OBX cant say that. Spend the money and do it right. And for sure go with a 3 inch collector.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but the long tube headers that fit up to the 06 model 4x4 trucks would they also fit 07+?

Im lookin at a 6.2 denali for the family ride and would like to toss a set of long tubes, CAI, get the rest of the exhaust done, as well as a dyno tune. i saw the actual obx ones and the kooks and ARH set ups but thats damn expensive ya know but i like the fact of 3 inch collectors and the larger primaries.

Im not lookin to make huge power but add a touch and help with highway mileage<--thats the main concern for me.

Quick Reply: obx long tube headers for the 6.2
