Default OBX lontubes installed on my truck

So I had ordered a set of OBXs from my 09 silverado cc. This is my first set of headers on any of my trucks and I'll I can say is very impressive. The fit is awesome. I did run into some problems connecting my factory cat back but this was solved pretty easy at the muffler shop. 2.5 hours of install laying on my back with some power tools but pretty much basic hand tools. I'll get pics up later on today when I get off at work. If you do get these headers they do come with 6 O2 bungs so there's no need to buy O2 extension but make sure to buy oil drain plugs M18 x 1.5"

Ok well I've had the headers on for about 3 days and they are awesome. Finished up the exhaust system went with 3" from the y pipe back out to a 4" tip. For muffler choice I went with a 3" magnaflow 14" case it's loud but not obnoxious loud. Here a couple of the pix

I did notice that the starter wire was rubbing on a primary. So i unbolted it and relocated the wire. The boot of the second plug on the left side was rubbing so I put a DEI boot protector. They come in sets of two so I didn't let other go to waste bur now I'm going to have to buy the other six haha

My tune will be on as soon as I finish up my gear install. I have some 4.11s that are just waiting to get put on.

The y pipe was a 2 bolt collector and mine didn't have that it had just an exhaust clamp that's all. I know that the 08s have that 2 bolt collector style but mine changed. So it was just a little off I'll post a pix of what the shop did

Congrats !

I also love my OBX headers, why pay more?

For 99% of the guys here horsepower wise they are fine.

BTW mine came with all the plugs needed.

You did reuse the stock gaskets didnt you ?
