Looked killer and i bet it rode like a champ, probably hooked fairly well, but the load carrying capacity of the Coil spring 60z and 70z trucks sucked.. And i dont know about anyone else but a truck is a piece of crap if it cant pull a trailer loaded with a car or something or hauld a 4wheeler in the bed without dragging the trailer hitch.. Yeah i bet it is better for some things but leafs are the bomb for load carrying.. OR bags.. or a combo of both..
I dunno, I have a 5200 pound gvwr, pretty damn good for the time. 115" wheelbase and coils. The standard springs and shocks were way soft. I have the upgrade (lol, sucks) 3/4 ton rear coils. We haul all sorts of **** with it. It handles heavy loads in the bed really well. It just floated down the road (sitting right at level) with about 1100 pounds of stones in the bed. Many other close loads, but that was the heaviest. Man I was not happy with my mom that day. Had to go to Home Depot by myself and load up and pull that cart. Then load, unload, and place the mf's all over the backyard way away from my truck by hand. 100 degrees, near 100% humidity as always. Before my a/c was fixed, fun with vinyl.. Sorry, got off into a tangent.
