Opinion on G-Tech??
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/GTP-240/
Just wanted to get everyones opinion on the use of a G-Tech. For those of you who dont know what it is, its a performance tool used to monitor performance such as 0-60mph 0-100mph 1/4mi 60ft 1/8mi. The G-Tech on the link above even has a Hp and Tq calculator. What do you all think about it and its accuracy in measuring such parameters??
I have also used the edge evolution tuner 1/4mi drag strip. After going to the track with my truck and using the edge, both times were the same. Was off by .001

Hey man i think that these look good but are off by quite a bit. I remember seeing a video on Youtube that was like a little test thing and they compared this and a program that is similar called dynolicious, which is for the iphone and the G-tech was way off. You might be able to find it man. My $.02

I had a G tec a year or so ago but the numbers just didnt add up. Somtimes it seems to be spot on and others its off by one or two seconds according to the stop watch I now use. I traded mine and I now use a stop watch or go to the track. Also it uses gps and cant find satilites in some areas.

i c, ive gotten good results from the edge evolution drag strip. after going to the track, i tested it and i got the same #'s. i was just wondering about the G-Tech. I figured it would be more accurate, since ive seen some magazines use it for performance tests and tuning/testing.
