Painted rear bumper caps and gate handle
Did these myself in the garage. I used bulldog adheisive promoter, sheer silver mixed paint, and some badass clearcoat I got at the autmotive paint store. Turned out great!

Do you have a link to all the **** you used?
You did a good job but I'm going to need to re do my plastics and if I can save my self some money and learn a new talent, hell, why not give it a try.
Also, what grit sand paper did you use? And when did you apply the promoter?
Looks damn good btw.

I dont have step by step pics. Here is the best I can do
1. Remove four plastic push pins from under the bumper. One on each end of the bumper and the other two are in the center of the bumper.
2. twist the tow harness plug in out and disconnect it.
3. this is a pain in the *** and you will probably damage it like I did but try your best and remove the spare tire lock.
4. The plastic covers are just snapped on with metal clips. Work your way from the outside of the bumper and lift up on the plastic panels they will pop right off. Be carefule not to crack them!
5.Get some hot soapy water and clean the chrome bumper caps you will be painting
6.I used 100 grit sand paper and scuffed up the chrome to the point where it looks dull.
7.Use hot soapy water again to clean the area you will be painting. This is important, must be hot soapy water!
8. Tape off any area's that can catch overspray
9. Use Bulldog adheisive promotor and spray a nice coat onto the bumper. Let dry for 20 min
10. Use a base coat of whatever color your truck is. I went to a local paint store and gave them my paint code. Made me a rattle can of paint for my color. Spray an even coat over all area's you want painted. Once you think its good enough let dry for 20 min and repeat if needed. I did two coats
11. When your at the paint store ask them for some high gloss clear that will give it a shine like the outside of vehicle. Thats all I did. Spray a quick coat of clear over all the painted area's. Let the clear get tacky (10-15 min) of drying then go over everything with a really thick coat of clear. Be careful not to get too close because the clear will run. Just those two coats of clear are all you need. Let dry for 4-5 hours and you are done with paint!
12. Re-install all the plastics be careful not to scratch your fresh paint.
