Default people with custom made driveshafts....

where did you get them made, price, high speed balance, etc????? Tired of shuttin' her down at 100-110 because I'm scared the shaft is gonna come out AGAIN and tear up the gas tank, shocks and all my exhaust!!! LOL.

you have a 1 peice all you need is a high speed balance and upgrade u-joints. call a driveline shop around you and get a price to have it high speed balanced. it should be around 100 or a lil more

120 MPH seems to be the number I've seen pop up a few times when discussing failures of the steel ones on GMT900..Not sure about the aluminum ones but I'd guess they'd be near the same.

It's not so much the horsepower as much as the high speed harmonics that seem to cause them to fail. I'm sure there's a point at which too much horsepower will snap driveshafts, but you'll likely hit the natural frequency it breaks at long before building enough HP to do it.

Most shops ive seen only go up to 3500rpm...which in mine case works out to 70mph, but they say its good to 200mph.
