Default Pinion angle...

What are you lowered guys running? I've got a 7" drop in the rear and I'm fighting some vibration issues. It's got the shims installed that came with the flip kit (6") but I put the stock hangers/shackles on to drop it the extra 1". I'm currently at 5 degrees.

Get an angle finder and check, is this on a NNBS? 2wd or 4x4? Keep us updated.

2008 RCSB 2wd I'm at 0 on the driveshaft and +5 on the pinion at the dif.

if i remember right, factory specs are less than +/- 1 degree.

Put 4* shims in.
Mcg is known to be 4* off

Yeah, after doing some more research and checking the angle at both yokes and the driveshaft im gonna add 3* worth of shims. Thanks for the input fellas!

Might as well buy the longer bolts for the leaf pack so you have enough "stub" to go through the shim and into the rearend

What is the angle of your trans output shaft?

-1, driveshaft is right at 0 and the rear yoke is positive 5. So if I bring the rear yoke down 3* it should be pretty damn close.
