Default Please help with choosing throttle body

I want a 102 from fast but the 08 trucks don't have cable drive to they aren't they just direct plug and play. I'll take pics tommorow to show what I have but I don't think it's. Cable drive and if it is how about installation.

Just get the ls3/ls7 tb off eBay or buy 11silvys if he still has his. It's a true 90mm should be plenty for ur app.

I wouldn't bother with a throttle body if a ProCharger is in your future plans.

It wouldn't help with intake manifold? I know it's not by much but I want to c how much power I can get from 4.8 before forced induction or n2o

On a blow-through throttle body, 3mm larger throttle body won't make much difference at all. On a suck-through, it would be more worth-while.

So, if you plan on going turbo or ProCharger, I don't believe it's worthwhile. But, if you go Magnacharger, or N/A, or nitrous, then any increase in throttle body size helps. The bigger, the better.

You want a 102mm on a mild 4.8L? That's a total waste of money, not to mention that it won't bolt up to your stock manifold. I wouldn't bother with a 102, unless you had a 400+ci motor. Your stock TB is plenty for your N/A 4.8.

I remember you explaining it a little bit when I asked about the 90mm upgrade after I installed my PC but this really helps explain the differences and benefits and why depending on the FI how much of an impact it will make.

Thank you sir
