No worries man im the one whos always worried like im coming off as as an asshat its tricky when all we see are typed out words instead of a face to face gab about it. I dont often get into discrepancies in the real world but I sure seem to catch some folks ire online thats for sure haha. Been working around the clock too so Im fubar these days. Anyways its all good we're all after the same thing
Horse Power!
So back on track here I read that post and it does make sense but someone did swap an LS3 intake onto an L92 and posted dyno charts somewhere and iirc the LS3 intake didnt lose any bottom end at all but it did gain up top. I cant find the link now of course or i would have posted it last night but I found it when I was buying parts for my L92. Anyways if funds permit i'd just get that monstrous truck FAST truck intake I wasnt even aware that it existed until this thread to be honest

FYI, the current FAST truck intake is for the 5.3's and older 6.0's...I "hear" they are comming out with a truck manifold L92 heads...

I realize this thread is about 6 months old but it is a worthy subject for me to post in... I have a AWD TBSS that had the truck intake on it and I drove it around for about 6 weeks or so .... I put it on a dyno and got 446 AWHP and 454 AWTQ ...we then switched over to a Lingenfelter LS3 P&P intake manifold off of a new vette with only 124 miles on it , we slapped it on the same day and the new #'s were 466 AWHP & 473 AWTQ. I do realize that the longer runners in the truck intake are supposed to get the 5000 lb brick off the line quicker but most guy's are running 3600 vigs or 3600 yanks so there really is not any reason to worry about torque down real low , the vig or yank will get you to that sweet spot.
My best 1/4 mile time is to date 12.27@112 with a 1000 to 1500 foot DA and all full weight . I did spin all 4 tires for about 5-10 feet but with a little better traction I should hit the 11's with some sealevel DA.

sob! i want to go with a better intake, but i want to run the 102mm though if i buy a better intake. im going with the car intake i think. my cam really pulls hard up top, i just need a tighter converter or better gears.

the intake will raise the power band unless you go with a torque'r cam, so the stall will work well for you if you go intake route, gears? hahaha didnt you just put those gears in? guess you'll need 4:56s
how soon you looking for one? is that 3200 a triple disc and can be restalled?

yeah i just put them in....just means i may need 4:30s-4:56s its not a track queen but the 102mm would be awsome on the street with 4:10s...
