Which brand oil filter do you use?

I've always used WIX. Good filter for the money I think.

 

I use regular ol Delco pf48 not 48e. I run whatever synthetic is on deal m1 edge or Penz and dump it at 4k so no need for a crazy expensive filter. I agree wix is a good one too.

 

Wix 57045 from a 2012 ish Impala is what I use. Much larger than stock.

 

Oh my, Dick. What a huge filter you have there. Bigger might be better, but what's the difference in price? Also has anyone tried the XP line of filters? If its only a few $$ more then I think it would be better.

 

They are the same price. It's for an impala, not a Ferrari.

 

I use AC Delco. Can't remember the model number, but it is double the size from the recommended filter.

 

Ive been using a ACDelco UPF48R. Same as ZR1 corvette. I like them so far.

 

Thank you, I love Wix filters and have been looking for a larger one. In the past I used one for a H2 until they discontinued it.

 

From napa for these trucks they have a few options.

99-06

21042 is the short filter
21522 is a longer filter

07+

27045 long filter
27060 short filter

They make em regular 3,000 mile filters and a premium aka platinum filters too.
