Default QTP Cutout for 6.2 Silverado

Was wondering if anyone had installed a QTP cutout on their 6.2. I was looking at the 3.5" kit with the included stainless pipe. This seems like a better solution then trying to decide on a muffler. Will it makes any difference on a stock truck?

got one on mine...its a DMH brand though....much better quality. used the qtp stainless cutout with the dmh electric valve. pretty nice sounding but honestly the factory catback flows so well, the cutout wont make a difference in power i dont think until you have a LOT of power

Do you guys have sound clips with the cutout open? Judging by the stock exhaust the 6.2 must sound beastly with a cutout.

Don't buy a QTP, they're shitty. DMH has good quality cutouts though.

I have only had it like 6 months but I close it every time i get in my neighborhood and every time I get into a parking garage... which is every single day. Not saying it is the best but it has treated me well so far.

LS1Aggie ya I still have one more year but who knows maybe I will see you in the Z around town. Keep your eye out for a black silverado on black 20s with 33s haha

Give it another 6mo to a year. But I hope it keeps working for you, mine didn't as well as many others I've seen and read about. My advice to you is to take out every bolt and screw you can and loctite the **** out of them, and try to seal up the motor any way you can.
