Rear Locker, anyone broke yet?

Default Rear Locker, anyone broke yet?

Has anyone broke the locker in the rear in the new trucks yet? Jw if its the same g80 locker or what? Ive put mine thru hell and back, mudding, burnouts etc and never had one hick up yet on the mudtires.

its the same G80 as the old ones, some can take abuse and some cant. if your gonna stay mudding and burning out go ahead and upgrade before it breaks and your stuck with a larger repair bill IMO

x2, if you're really as hard on your rear end as you say, if the g80 breaks it often damages the transmission.

theres a thread on getonitracing.net where his rearend broke then destroyed his transmission. the bad thing is he had a tru-trac an 4:10 gears i think i might be wrong, ill try and find the thread

yea that was the plan to go with a trutrac,but figured id ask just in case. prolly go ahead and upgrade the axles etc all at once, shouldn't have to many issues. trying to stay away from a 14bolt due to the weight difference.

so the G80 is factory locker?

my truck spins two wheels always does that mean i have locker?

id upgrade lockers if your happy with the gears you have. im babying mine until i get the extra cash to go with a tru-trac and my 4:30s
