A flip kit in the rear equals out to be 7". Do they just put new shackles in to bring it back up to 5"?

A flip kit with stock hangers and shackles is 7" I believe. A flip with the new reversed hangers and new shackles can be 4" or 5". Flip with reversed hangers and stock shackles is 6" I think.

For clarification. Drop spindles will give me a better ride than control arms correct. Thinking about getting the 2/3 belltech drop fron Stylin Concepts that has the spindles.

The NNBS you cant do them easily because they are welded on, you either need a flip kit, or drop leafs

Any ride problems with the flip kit? What's the difference in ride quality between the flip kit and drop leafs? Here is robby5323's truck I think this is a 2/4

McGaughey's 2" spindles up front. Rear = taking out factory block, 2" drop shackle and spring clamps...

onehourburn's Belltech 2/3

you have to grind the rivets off the stock rear hanger. Then you bolt on a new one that is flipped over.

What is the lowest you can go in the rear without having to do a flip kit. 4" ?. Is the easiest way to achieve this with leaf springs. If so how is the ride quality.
