I'm gonna guess mid 2010. Was supposed to be late in 09 MY but with sales the way they are must be a pile of 4L60e's floating around the plants waiting to be used up... wish they would hurry the hell up though...might even trade in once/if they come out.

"GM pulling out of Nascar" thing was a joke on April Fools by Car and Driver. They have since apologized since it seems some people actually fell for it and got mad.

 

the MY09 build sheets said late 09. So unless they went way way late 09, I dunno. I would hope start 2010 they would just start cranking out every truck with a 6-speed.

Obammy says he's going to force GM and Chryco to cancel non profitable model lines. That's why I bought my RCSB 4X4 now, who knows if there will be 2010 models. If they cut any truck models the RCSB will be the first to go. You snooze you lose.

 

Cool! I'd probably look into it but not necessarily buy one. Only thing that they could build that would make me buy another truck would be a 6.2L/6L90E inside a RCSB Colorado. Now that I would be all over!!
