Has anyone had problems with remote start after disconnecting the battery? Ever since I did my header/exhaust install Saturday I can't get the remote start to work with the exception of one time. It clicks and the lights flash like it is going to start, but it doesn't. Does disconnecting the battery make you have to reprogram it or something? If so that is kind of lame because a trip to the dealership everytime you disconnect the battery is kind of annoying.

Yes, but because I haven't gotten a tune yet I'm getting the code for rear 02 efficiency (came on about 40 miles after the install) which is caused by having headers. I know this is easily removed in tuning, could this have anything to do with it?

Yes, if your check engine light is on it will not turn on with the remote start...had the same problem with mine when i installed the headers.

My code for the rear O2s just went away on its own.....weird. Did you tune yours out immediately or did you have to wait awhile? I wonder if it is usual for it to come and go.

Yeah same deal here. Somehow the gas cap was on kinda sideways or something, threw 3 codes, and the remote start would not work. Cleared 'em and then it was all good. Glad you found out what it was.

Ok we did Turbo truck and the remote start has never worked. Was bought as a wreck so ive never seen the remote start work. The lights flash and the pump primes but never cranks. The MIL is off but if you hook hp tuners to it, there are codes in it but set not to trip MIL. Will these codes keep it from starting? If so how do you make it work? It has been turbod and is missing rear o2s, and maf.

That sounds like something better directed at the tuning section. I would guess that if there are any codes set it will not work though... In for answers though if anyone does answer it.
