Default reprogramming everything...

have any of you guys (or your tuner) gone into the computer and truly disabled some of the annoying safety features? i recently realized that my remote start won't work on my ap8 silverado due to my longtubes, since it won't run the o2 monitor. id like to go in and also disable the chime, remote start timing etc. I'm sick of all the computer perimeters.

Did you have the rear o2's removed in the tune? Remote starter will work fine once they're out and the check engine light is off.

my remote start doesn't work with an engine light on either

Can EFI live / hp tuners rewrite BCM programs? you may need to track down a tech2 perhaps!

HPT can't do anything BCM related. Only PCM/TCM.

When I did the LTs and ory the engine light came on and remote start stopped working. When my tuner removed the rear o2s in the tune and the light went out remote start worked fine again.
