s475 ly6 swap 4.3 in progress 09' rcsb video
OK finally got the truck ive been wanting for awhile now nnbs !!!!
Did some searching on craigslist for at least a month waiting for good deal to pop up . Sold my 72 nova which had aluminum turbo 5.3 tubbed caged blah blah blah , it was fun but ive been wanting a newer truck .
Scored one on craigslist ,drove 4 half hours to pick it up .Drove the truck back to my house . Pulled the motor/trans setup out 3 days later .
I already have a rebuilt ly6 with head studs, big cam, intake etc , bought a 4l80e off my father . which came out of a box truck , had the parking brake on it .
As of right now most of the parts are ordered to do the swap and a local guy here has a wreck 08' model which had 4.8 . Bought harness off him and few other parts going to , ac lines, radiator hoses, motor mounts .
Truck was lowered already when bought , but i plan on lowering it more, just has axle flipped above leafs , and 2" drop spindles . I plan on notching frame , lowering springs front rear , that should have better stance.
Heres quick run down on parts -
stock bottom end ly6 , top ring opened up
80lbs injectors
twin walbro 450's
stock lines with an adapters -pics later
stock 10 bolt for now with what ever stock gears in it. - ford 9" in future
4l80e with correction kit and single disc converter
s475 t4 divided 1.10 83mm should spool wicked fast with the converter i picked out .
2" cross overs hot side 4" down pipe
ill update with new pics when stuff gets here .

Got the fuel system bout done, the 4.3 has two rails going to the engine bay , ones a feed line ther other i think is for evap , suck the engine fumes out ...?..? idk , but im using the feed line for the feed line and the other line for the return , . it goes to the charcoal canister , im just going to cut it from the canister and run it to the tank , drill and insert a barb fitting top of gas tank for the return . do sway with the evap stuff.
using twin walbro 450s , bought them both with the install kit , filter sock and 6" hose line . put in a y fitting , . wiring it was super easy . came with wiring plug ins , cut them off and used the terminals from the kit for the stock plug in .
