I have to drive an old ford windstar minivan for work sometimes. I don't think I've ever been in a vehicle that chimes more and as loud as this one. Most vehicles will chime a few times if you don't buckle up but this one refuses to quit. It will continue chiming until you either buckle up or get out of the van. It drives me freaking nuts. So I just reach over and buckle the passenger seat belt into my clip and problem solved.

Fords and Chrylers will chime over and over until it's on. GMs chime when you don't put it on, then leave you alone after that. I spend a lot of time unbelted while driving slowly offroad at work, as I may need to get out of my vehicle quick, fast, and in a hurry. The Chevy trucks are fine as they don't bother you more than once, but when I take out a Rubicon, Power Wagon, or a Super Duty I buckle the belt behind the seatback so it doesn't ding. If I need to haul ***, I can easily unbuckle it, let the retractor bring it to my left hand, and put it on. Chargers and Vics don't shut up either, but I only have it off when I first take off or am rolling to a stop.
