The air cleaner seal at the throttle body has a tendancy to fold and the pcv fresh air hose can pop off at the tube or valve cover.

Last night i pulled the whole system off checked for oil in tube (was none) and opened my throttle body and seen all the oil in there!!! YUCK i need a catch can!!! So anyways I cleaned my MAF and noticed the hose clamp on the throttle body wasn't holding a tight seal. I bought a pair at home depot this morning for $4.00 and put it on then reset the codes and now i am hoping this will fix all my problems.

PS. If you ever forget to connect you MAF your truck won't start in the morning and you'll be late for work and try everything possible until you remember the KISS theory and remember to check what you worked on and feel like a douche when it was such a supid mistake!!

Well it seems to be great now. Although i have to redo my tune. It was the Hose clamp on the throttle body from my K&N CAI that somehow broke it self loose. I would have never known if i didn't try to retighten it. I went to Homedepot and fixed it for $.98. Aint that some ****!

Can't beat that with a big stick. Just glad you found it before a tech hit you up for a hundred dollar diag on that $.98 hose clamp!

Yeah the hose clamps look soooo cheap next to the ones from home depot! I guess K&N cheaped out to make a little more $$
