My experience as well. Perfect fit, no problems. I thought 1 7/8" might get close to the bolt head on the steering shaft, but there's still plenty of clearance.

To add to what I said earlier, I had more trouble removing the factory O2 sensors than I did with any portion of the reinstall. I dropped the trans crossmember and removed the Y pipe with the sensors still installed and ended up with only 1 of 4 that came out without messing up the threads. Luckily I had the correct die to recut the threads to avoid having to buy new sensors. This was on a truck with only ~780 miles on it. There was plenty of clearance to put both the driver and passenger side in from the bottom. At first glance I thought that I may have to flip the bolt in the steering shaft, but it didn't matter once they were in place and bolted down, lots of extra room.

I would love to have a set of ARH longtubes, but the price is a little high for me, and not very many used ones come up for sale all too often. Just all depends on how much I can save-up before the blackbear tune in Pittsburgh at the end of May. Le sigh...

Obx sells a decent looking set of headers
OBX LONG TUBE SS304 HEADER 07+ GMC 1500 SERIES 6.2L ALL | eBay
Catted version
OBX Catted Header GM 07-08 1500 Envoy Yukon Sierra 6.2L | eBay
Says they're for a 6.2 but the flange on the ypipe won't work for a 6.2 catback.
