Speed engineering headers and Y pipe

Really the y pipe won't fit a 6L80? I feel like that's very short sighted of them. I have the cash in my pocket right now to buy their headers and true dual exhaust prototype system but maybe I should just stick with my leaky Kooks headers and Y pipe and just have a cat back made.

The TSP Y-pipe had problems in 2 places... 1) the crossover had about 1/16th of an inch from hitting the 6L80e pan on the bottom and driver side.... and i didnt like that. 2) i had to notch the crossmember on the passenger side where the actual Y merges together and goes over the crossmember. It literally just sit on top of it with no clearance until i cut a bit corner out of it. This was last year or so... so not sure if they may have changed things since then.

Materials and Fitment... until you have held a set of Kooks/ARH and a set of Pacesetters etc. in your hand you wont know... Kooks look gorgeous and so well crafted... Same with ARH... with all that being said... i have coated Pacesetters beside me about to go on my 6.2 Denali I bought a CAI, muffler, LTs and Y, and Tune for the price of the Kooks i wanted. I dont cheap out but ive had coated Pacesetters on 6 different vehicles and they have NEVER let me down.

I called texas speed. They said the Y pipe was designed to clear the 6l80 (close fit but does clear) The guy also said the y pipe is designed for their headers and might not work with other headers.

I wonder how much it would cost to have a Y pipe made
