I don't know why it worked but it did, but I just loaded the TCM OS straight from GM SPS thru a mongoose pro cable. I can walk you thru the steps, since it was pretty easy once I got the software comfrigured on my tablet. I learned one thing the dealers do make a killing when they charge you for programming.
If anyone is interested I will work on that parts lists tonight.

In regards to the VINs, I do remember reading somewhere that most things are plug and play with GM Lan. The various controller are really just looking for certain controllers in certain locations. Like I said I read that somewhere but couldn't tell you where.
I have a couple of ideas to get the tutd to work. My first one is to get a new bcm and program it with a really early 09 1500 that had a LY5 and MYC and see what happens. Between HP Tuners, Tis2Web and Tech2Web I might get it to work. I am open to any other ideas.

Most gm techs can't reflash the bcm with a different OS and keep your vin. I'm sure there has to be a way to "rewrite" the bcm but change the vin back. Idk as i am not a "GM tech"
As for swapping the bcm idk if it'll throw security or not. So it would be a "try it and see" thing.
As for the sensor swaps...it would have been "cleaner" to just repin the harness using the pigtail plastics you needed vs a ton of splices. Did you use butt connectors or solder/marine wrap?
The 6spd is tricky to fine tune as it goes for a daily driver that most romp on.
Glad you know the swap knocked out

To start I have not disabled the VATS. I started by using Tis2web to load the 2500 os into the tcm. I choose only to flash the tcm, not the ecm/tcm. So I had the original tune in my ecm and it was able to communicate with the new tcm. The only thing I need to change in the ecm was is the speedo section of HP Tuners. I had to change the VSS pulses from 40 to 36. As of right now I have the original cluster and shifter back in the truck. Tis2web would not let my reprogram my replacement cluster, so I am looking for a place to get it program. I will be ordering a shifter with 1/16 pins. I will also order a new BCM so I can play with it. I have been driving the truck and it runs good. Still have a little delay when going into reverse or drive. I have played with the tow/haul and it works, it down shifts aggressively.
