Well I got my new cluster in a it is working good. When I put the shifter in M it tells me what gear it at. I couldn't get my junk yard take out programmed so I had to order a reman'ed one from the dealer. They were quick just a little pricey, but it has the correct mileage and engine hours.

As for the remote start and xm I found somebody how might be able to do the bcm programming to get them to work again. I am going on vacation soon, so I wI'll deal with those items later.

Whats the mileage on it? And what would you want for it?

Well I just wanted to post an update. After the install was completed the family and I want to Yellowstone towing our trailer and had a good time. I wasn't able to use tow/haul because I still haven't figured out the tuning for it, but M mode worked great. Definitely am happy with the swap. This week I finally have some time to play with the tuning. I think I am going to reprorgram the tcm, and see if the tow/haul can function better. Then I am going to start playing with my remote start again. Probably will need to reprogram the bcm as well. But I have time, so I am going to play with it.

 

Quick question, were you able to reuse your shifter cable or did you have to get a new one?

 

I was able to use the old shifter cable. I just purchased the shifter cable bracket specifically for the 6L80.
