Would swapping to a OE blower cam LS9/LSA yield better results with a maggy since it's geared toward FI opposed to stock L9H cam.

I mostly just drive mine or tow a boat how does blower matched with a OE blower cam effect average driving towing power torque band.

Yes it would. It's a great option if you're dead set on maintaining factory manners.

LS9 would result in more HP.But from what im reading from you is you want big gains simple with perfect driveability.

skip the cam just install the kit,if you need more pulley down with custom tune

Never had a single problem with my setup. I drove my truck every day in 100+ degree weather. These blowers are as reliable as they come.

Pulley down and custom tune it shall be. My TA is the toy this one not real concerned bout leaving a few horses out there the 6.2 is pretty damm impressive as delivered from gm with nothing more than the custom tune.

Right now I have a volant CAI kit on truck. With the maggy kit do I need to put the OE air box and filter back. Or will it work with the volant box and filter. Or should I just sell it off in the classifieds for my fund the blower fund. I ordered the tuner maggy kit and a smaller pulley this afternoon.

I am curious about this as well. Everyone talks about how efficient the stock airbox is in these trucks with a drop in filter but I cant help but wonder if power is being left on the table, especially for FI applications.

As for the blower, I am pretty sure most people take it back to stock simply to get more of their money back when selling the vehicle. I did not have any drivability issues and I only lost about .5 MPG. Of course I got mine through BB so it came with one of Justin's tunes which may have helped in that regard.

Let us know how it goes, you will love it!

Yeah the Volant will/ can be made to work easily with the Maggie , you may just need some couplings and/or a small 45* bend from silicone intakes dot com.

It would be similar to what I did , I can post a pic if you want , I kept my K+N open air box , used a large AFE dry flow filter and tubing/couplings from silicone intakes dot com also with Tbolt clamps. Pretty much the same from NBS to NNBS .
