I thought about the skin, but it doesnt have the body lines. The NNBS tailgate just looks too flat without the body lines imo. Someone on GMFS had that done and it just didnt look right.

I'd just cut a piece of plate to go across there and weld it on and do the accommodating body work... wtf was gm thinking with all that bullshit anyways?

I need to do some repairs to mine anyways. I have a mystery dent in the tail gate and was planning on doing a handle flip anyways.

me too, I walked out to my truck the other day and there's a dent running the width of the gate... looked like someone drove by and scraped down the back of the truck or something. guess I'll get the new gate and use the old one to "experiment" on or somethin... just need motivation.

My buddy shaved his lid and his handle and added a molded pan and I have to agree with JB1 that I'm not sure what it is about the NNBS but shaved up it looked too "boxy" I guess, the body lines don't carry on smooth. then again it could just be the shop he had to it.
