Ok guys need some input here, I replaced the vapor canister vent solenoid like 2 months ago to get rid of the p0449 cel. Well it helped until last week and I had another one come up right before I rolled a 100k so I went and had it checked and its a p0442. What could this be? It is a small leak detected, I replaced the gas cap and that did absolutely nothing. The vapor canister was new so I don't think it could be bad again huh? I was thinking maybe its the vapor canister purge valve but I'm not sure. What do you guys think?

just for future reference a gas cap would typically cause a "large leak" code and a free way to test that is rub the o ring with dielectric grease and that'll temporarily seal it up.

unfortunately evap leaks are a nightmare to find even with a smoke machine so I wouldn't advise just throwing parts and money at it hoping for the best, either A) rent a smoke machine or B) take it in and make sure they test it properly
