Which supercharger is best

Cool.
Thanks for all the input guys. I think I am definitely going with a 2300 TVS Magnacharger. I'll probably try it with the cam I have now. The only reason I wanted to switch to the LS9 cam was to get a better idle and try to get back some of the gas mileage I lost when I changed the cam.

I am about to do the same to my 08 denali ( charger, LT's, cam, tune ) but i was contemplating pro charger or whipple. I haven't seen anyone mention whipple at all, is there a reason, or just preference ? I had a pro charger a few years back on my 04 z-06 and it was a beast. i would just like to hear why everyone is so into magna chargers? also what can a magna charger be had for?

Whipple hurt their reputation with the GM truck guys with their older, non intercooled, kits. Magnacharger made an obviously superior product and made the decision much easier for people to make. Whipple's new kits are MUCH improved now, but it's difficult to convince people who remember their older kits. I have been generally very pleased with my Whipple as have most of the other guys who run it.
They designed their own unit and all of the hardware is of very nice quality. Their tune is crap and something they REALLY need to address. I would not install one of their kits unless I was going to have it tuned or tune it myself. Also, the stock pulley that they include in the kit appears to be too large for the 6.2L trucks. My boost on the stock pulley was 5.5 psi when it was supposed to be 8-10 psi. I got a smaller pulley from them and now my boost is 8.5 psi. Unfortunately, I am at the limit on my stock (flex fuel) injectors and any future mods I would like to make will require larger injectors.
Magnacharger is an easy choice as so many guys runs them and much of the guess work has been already solved. I chose Whipple because I wanted to try something different and see how far it would take me. It has been a challenging learning process but it has also been fun. My truck still only has the Whipple kit with no other mods. Granted, I have stepped down a pulley size (to get the boost to where is was supposed to be) and worked on the tune, but I am pretty pleased with the current results (see sig). Keep in mind, my truck is fully loaded with AWD and all of the trimmings, I am well aware that guys with 2WD CCSB 6.2L trucks are getting similar numbers with bolt-on's and a tune. Find me another 2010 Denali AWD CCSB with LT's, intake, and a tune, running low low 13's at 105 and I will say that I wasted my money.

CI, I am biased to the whipple kits, but I think a TVS 2300 would still be a very good choice. I think it's going to come down to personal preference and whatever you feel the best about. I have yet to get back out and try for better times but I have been seeing boost in the mid 9 psi range lately with the cooler weather. I am just concerned about breaking the drivetrain and stock trans so I am slow to go back to the track to get some lower times.
Have you had any issue with your drivetrain yet in your truck? Doing hard launches with AWD? I ask as you have a lot already done to your truck but I am curious how big of a N2O shot you have and if you spray off the line or at a certain rpm after leaving.

I just want some more low end grunt and a little smoother idle, which I why I am considering the LS9 cam and the TVS. Thanks for the input guys.
