SUV folks - Esky/GM mods
This stuff has been in place on my truck since December, but I'm working on a similar project for a detailing customer and I figured I'd share the info here as well in case it's useful for those considering the same.
Cliff notes version - my biggest beef with GMT900 Yukons/Denalis is that the vent caps and CHMSL housing are not painted. Seems odd that you have to go with a Tahoe/Suburban to make the rear end look classy. So, working with a couple of my favorite vendors, I changed a few things on my truck. Here are the parts & numbers:
15791343 - Yukon vent cap (left)
15791342 - Yukon vent cap (right)
(FYI - you can go with Escalade vent caps, but you have to run the Esky tail lights as well - there's a beveled edge that matches both pieces. That said, if anyone is interested in the Esky vent cap p/n's, here they are:
15262791 - Escalade vent cap (left)
15262792 - Escalade vent cap (right) )
15847948 - Escalade CHMSL unit
15847949 - Escalade CHMSL housing
11561972 - Esky CHMSL mounting bolt - you'll need two.
The pieces that then go out for paint are both vent caps and the CHMSL housing. The mounting bolts match the two already in place on the CHMSL housing - but the Esky piece requires four, versus two for Tahoes/Subs/Yukons. Installation of these pieces is very easy and intuitive, but I'd be happy to answer any questions or help guide anyone who's stuck.
More paint.... I also went with splash guards. I'm kinda' OCD about the finish, and I've found that the rockers on the NNBS trucks take much more of a beating than prior generations. The caveat here - GM only offers the molded guards in certain colors. So, I went with stealth grey (first on the parts list) and added them to the shipment to receive paint. Here are those numbers:
17800469 - Front splash guards, fitment w/ running boards
17800470 - Rear splash guards
That's the skinny. Here are some before & after shots:
I also added a few other things, listed below.
19170728 - GM polished SS exhaust tip, 3.5" in/4" out
19158571 - GM chrome tow hooks
687665 - AVS chrome lower mirror caps
LEDT-311CR - IPCW 'Ruby Red' tail lights
For Yukon folks interested in the tails, be sure to ask for socket adapters and be prepared for a little extra install time. These are built to use the 3057 bulbs...which is fine if you have a Tahoe or Suburban. Unfortunately, Yukons & Denalis use the 7443 bulbs. (This is also an issue when you go to sell your stockers on eBay. ) The mirror caps add a nice Escalade touch, and the tow hooks make for a subtle improvement (IMO) to the front end. I love the tone of the factory exhaust (never thought I'd say that before buying this truck!) but that bowl-of-suck-ugly tailpipe definitely needed some help. I actually hacked off about 2" of the tailpipe to get the tip to tuck in as much as possible. Now that I've lowered the truck I really like the look.
Hopefully this helps some fellow SUVers out there. Happy modding!

Just the one you see in the sig. Nothing exotic - just a tune, intake, drop, and a few aesthetic things. It'll be sitting 1" lower in the back this weekend.

Different from....? I haven't changed any wiring, other than to install the socket adapters for the tail lights. (I can't speak to the tail light harness for Escalades since they do use LED tails.)
Yeah, that or twin turbos. Until the lottery winnings come in I don't see either happening, unfortunately.
