First off great numbers, those are the best I've seen for a stock 5.3 and almost no mods, especially the torque; that's just crazy to me. I've seen other 5.3's with small cams and headers in them that made the same torque. I think that torque is close to what some stock 6.0's make.

Is this the aluminum 5.3, does it have vvt?

What are the gears out back; 3.42?

Do you have the 6 speed tranny?

The only thing that is confusing is that the torque is so great and carries all the way up to 4800 rpm, it makes no sense that you didin't make close to 320 - 330 hp. It just doesn't add up.

Either way, that thing must feel like a beast now, I'd love to drive that baby! Now lets see some vids of carnage and destruction!

Thanks for the clarification, I was wondering what kind of fuel was over there. It almost seemed as though you could get 110 race fuel as "premium" & the low octane stuff was 91.

Does this engine have the Active Fuel Management? Is it this or the trucks with the VVT that have the goofy cams that don't like performance? (ie. not good with FI)

I would guess these DOD engines hate any internal mods done to them.. The lifters are wack and so is the valley cover
