Think this is the real deal?
Amazon.com: OBX Header 07+ Chevrolet Sierra/Silverado 1500 Series 6.2L V8 ONLY: Automotive
If they are the real deal and not the knock offs cant beat that, id like to be able to see the specs to see if they are 1 3/4 and 3" though .
Id also like to have the EGR intact due to emmissions unless yall are runnin without it and are gettin away with it if thats the case F it .

I also think the y-pipe looks like **** on those headers....
Just my opinion.
If you want to actually have good performing headers, that 6.2 needs a 1 7/8 primary/ 3" collector set, with a real y-pipe. Look to American Racing Headers or Kooks for those. You really do get what you pay for....

I have these, and can confirm they are 1 3/4" primarys and 2.5" collectors. And, AK is right the y-pipe sucks. It actually cuts down to 2.75 at the merge and then widens back to 3.5". I am going to weld in a larger piece of stainless at this point to solve the restriction.
Although i'm sure the ARH and Kooks are better, these are also a good value. I still picked up a noticable amount of hp.

I keep seeing everyone saying to put 1 7/8 headers on the 6.2 but I hear they hurt low end where our trucks really need it! I'll sacrifice some top end to help my bottom end out. I'd love to see a dyno comparison to see where each header lies... Anyone with some extra money wanna try this? lol

Thats what i was figurin and yes i dont want the fake cats i actually want to run high flow cats and would have bought a different y pipe but was gonna see if i could call and get the headers seperate since they didnt have the hump. As far as power im not lookin for every bit cause later down the road it will be swapped to a dmax/allison and for now just want a little more hp for fun factor and around town pep.
As Brutal said the smaller primaries and collectors are fine if it gets me more down low but if the 1 7/8" and 3" gets me good down low and better up top ill spend the extra but ill go with pace setter coated ones with the EGR provisions if i ever need to toss it back on. As mentioned again ill like to run Long tubes, high flow cats, 3" true dual through a dual in X pass dual out muffler and exit the rear like the SLP style exhaust, cold air either banks ram air with scoop or S/B with the scoop and a custom tune either mail order or dyno.
The trans ill address with an Aux. cooler probly a 40 plumed in line with the factory through radiator cooler if its run that way which in winter will keep temps up and in summer keep them down(worked great here in AZ to keep things cool but got it up to proper temp in the winter great) and slap a trans go shift kit in it(and when i have it tuned have the trans done as well). That should get me to some decent power to the ground which will help out alot in the city driving and the better efficiency will net me better highway mpg keeping my foot out of it.
Sound like a plan lol, so as of right now i am trying to fsearch for the best deals on the best parts before i get the truck and actually see if these kits I.E. the headers and cold air intakes will fit all 07+ models the shift kit and tune ill get after.

The obx headers that fit 4.8,5.3 and 6.0 also fit on the 6.2's. I called Pacesetter to verify that, the bolt patterns are the exact same off the head. Now I have mentioned this in previous threads but i'll mention it again here.
If you have a 4.8 or 5.3 with just some bolt ons (lets say 350hp after all the bolt ons and a tune) Then I see absolutely no problem with the 2.5in collector, everybody keeps geting hung on this like they have plans to build a 500hp motor or something. For those motors with bolt on's the obx headers are more than sufficent and will get the job done.
Now if you have a 6.2 that will change the game up a bit, I went with Pacesetters 1 3/4primaries and 3in collector headers, Where the hell else are you going to get coated LT headers for 353 shipped to your door (Amazon.com: PaceSetter 72C2267 Long Tube Header with Armor Coat for 2/4WD 4.8L, 6.0L, 6.2L Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 2007-09: Automotive).
Good luck with whatever route you decide to go.
