So I'm looking for a cam for my 2008 Silverado rcsb l76... My goal is is at least 12.5 sec truck at the 1/4... But I want it to be a road racer... All my bolt on is in my sig... Did some research but didn't really see any times.. On N/A set up... I was looking at this cam ...
Still gotta do the vvt delete and DOD delete...

umm that truck should be a 12 sec truck without the cam

 

Still has the stock vvt cam... The best time I got out of the 1/8 was 8.8 1.9 60 ft 76 mph .. Doesn't really pull on top.. That's why I'm looking at a cam ..

He said I need a cam lol.... I don't want to keep bugging him for cam specs etc... Want to find out of any one has the same experience Im going threw.. Or any links or threads ... About this new 6.0

 

My cam does pretty well 228/236 112+2 12.7 @ 105 all day long in a 5600+ truck on DRs and a 3600. It was a roll racer too.
Run one like chevrolade had 230/235 i think

 

I was thinking I can get away with a bit of a bigger cam than yours .. Just because I'm at 5000 pounds ... Like 232/238 111+3...

 

a 2wd crew cab really weighs 5600?

 

I doubt it, my 4wd with heavy *** 14 bolt, boat anchor class V hitch, step bars, ranch hand grille guard and tool set it crosses teh scales at just over 5600 with me in it(1650#).

 

But Keniff carries a tool box and a 3 Ton jack
