Tire fitment w/ 22 reps
So I will be buying the 22 TBSS reps once I receive my tax refund. I was thinking of putting some 305/45/22 on it. Currently the truck is bone stock in the front, with only a pulled block in the rear to level it out a bit. The current size on it now is 265/65/18 (factory). I'm thinking I am going to put bilsteins all the way around with the height adjustables in the front. Maybe go one notch up to make it fully level.
I guess my question is, will the 305/45 be too short? I like as much sidewall as I can get, but rubbing annoys the hell out of me. I will trim some plastics if need be, but I don't want to get into any metal cutting. What other sizes might work?

i had 305/45/22's on boss 313's and at full lock they rubbed front fenderwells right on the plastic clip that holds them in. Once I removed the clip it wasn't as bad but still rubbed especially when backing up with wheels cut to the left. I'd look into smaller tires like the 285's! I have holes in my front fenderwells from where the tire pushed the liner into the frame.

I've put two holes in the plastic liner on my driver side, I ripped my passenger side out the first winter because snow got packed in there. I've been lowered 50,000 miles now though. 305/40 will rub, but it's not something unbearable. I barely even notice, just used to it.
