Not really wantin a "SLAM" just want like a 2/4 drop!! what would be the best way to go!? i only have one concern i WANT IT TO SIT LEVEL!

 

The easiest and cheapest way is probably to use 2" drop spindles in the front and 2" drop shackles in the rear and take out the 1 1/2" spacer block under the leaf spring. That way you should get a 2/3.5" drop.
That's what I'm gonna do, and I'm with you on the lower and level look without scraping the ground.
I have already installed the 2" drop shackles and the truck is now just about perfectly level so a further 2" in front and 1 1/2" in the back ought to look real nice, without breaking the bank, to boot! I would've attached a pic but the ones I have are apparently too large to download?!

 

Flip kit and a lift shackle for the rear if you ask me. That will put it at about 4-4.5 in the rear which would make it sit much more level.

 

i have a 3'' shackle drop now and the block took out and it still sits up in the rear!!! ?????????

I would have just bought 4" drop leafs.

 

Well the best way is to measure what it's currently sitting at and see how much lower you need to go in the rear to make it sit level. A flip kit with a lift shackle usually brings it to around 4.5" which makes it sit pretty darn close to level. If that's not low enough just put it on the second shackle eye and it will sit an inch lower.

 

i only tow about 1500-2000 lbs so im liking the idea of the flip kit but would i NEED helper bags??
