Did you leave it that way? Did you have the shaft shortened? I think i saw that you did something different with your shock mounts??

Any suggestions? Truck will not see much track time if any. Towing about 5 days a year..

you can use a hole transfer punch and drill the holes 1/2-5/8 forward. that will set your axle back to almost stock location . i didnt no anything with mine. i wanted it right in the middle.

it rides alot better. the shocks arent at any crazy angles anymore so it dampens the bumps alot better

Great.. I got it all welded up last night.. let it down and found that the wheel gap is about 3 inches at the front and 5 inches at the rear. I will end up drilling the center pin hole forward an inch to recenter the wheel. I had hoped that it wouldnt be that noticeable but it is... and with me doing this that will alleviate the driveshaft being too short as well..

looks like i just need to make some templates and get me some shock mounts cut out so i can mount them in a similar manner to yours Daryn..

Thanks for all the help.. I may end up fabing up my helper bag setup as well.. Im going to make a crossmember that will fit the bags directly over the axle inside the frame rails so it is hidden, i am also going to include provisions to allow the stock bump stops to be installed so that god forbid i ever did blow a helper with a load on at least the bump stops would catch it prior to the wheels hitting the fenders or the axle laying on the frame..
