Ur diff will last, u mite have problems with traction button.
I think I managed like a 13.1 with boltons and 100 shot in my crew cab
I would personally do a 4k pi multidisc, 224/230 cam 110lsa and just mill ur 243s like .40 or .45

I got the Detroit trutrac so I think that'll hold. Swapped it when I did the 4:11s.

What tires where you running on the 13.1? Stockers ? And also it seems like the nnbs 5.3s are churning out quicker times with bolt ons than nbs or is it just me?

My brother had a 99 Silverado with a 5.3 and stock heads, he was running an Edge 3600 stall, 4.56 gears, and a 221/221 cam and swapped it for a 232/236 cam on XE-R lobes (VEY similar to tqrV2) and there was a definite gain! Although he never got to run it on the track there were obvious street racing gains, even from a dig. I say since you have much better flowing heads and slightly more compression than an older 5.3 like my brothers was, go for that Torquer V2

I'm thinking of going from 4:11s to 4:56s. But hearing this I might do it and run the v2 with 4k plus stall.

That would be a good cam/verter setup. I would at least mill the heads though. The compression increase will help your torque alot.

That would be something I'd do after the converter. I shouldn't have any problems top end though?
