Default TPMS Mixup

My DIC has my front and rear tire pressures switched, displaying the front tire pressures as the rear and vice versa. Is this in the BCM, or has something been switched?

Look in the owners manual and you need to do the TPMS re learn procedure listed after rotating tires.

The dealer has been rotating my tires at oil changes, and the last one was pretty recent. Apparently they messed it up, huh? This makes me wonder, because the tires are on the proper sides, just wrong front to back. Does this mean they kept the tires on the same side when they rotated?

Yep. I always swap my rear tires side for side when I move them to the front, and move the front tires straight back to the rear. Using this procedure every tire has been on every corner after three rotations.

The dipshit who rotated your tires forgot to perform the TPMS sensor position re-learn procedure.

Check your owner's manual for the re-learn procedure, it's not that bad. Just need to have compressed air access.

That makes sense. I think these ******** just swapped them front to back. Why the hell wouldn't they swap them to a different side? Duratracs aren't directional

I'll probably stop in there today after work. I also will remember to bitch about the improper rotation procedure.

tpms relearn is supposed to be part of the procedure. if they charge you for it, punch em in the head.
