Mine is an 11 6.2. Zero major issues; 2 minor annoyances: 1) the little fan in the ceiling above the driver was whining and was replaced under warranty and 2) every once in a while the driver side rear door sounds a bit tinny when it gets shut as opposed to the other three; I'll mention it next time I go in for service.

I looked at Ecoboosted Fords, Raptors, and a few Hemi powered Dodges. Here's the deal..........there wasnt a single one of those I can work on after the warranty is up. Also, the Raptor is $50K, Ram gets 13mpg, I dont want a pickup that's 4 or 5 years old right now, and I think regular Fords are ugly. Chevrolet remained my only option.

I debated between a Raptor extended cab and a Silverado CCSB 6.2; both $41k MSRP, both 400+ hp. I ended up going for the Chevy because I knew I could get more money off the sticker than the SVT, I really like the LS engines, and I wanted a cloth interior with plenty of room for six if needed, rather than a truck with leather and room for a max of five with less space for everybody in the back. I still really like the Raptor though; I regret my decision every once in a while when I see one driving down the road.

Nah, I wasn't insinuating that YOU should've gotten the 6.2 engine, just that if MY 6.2 wasn't up to snuff I'd get Ford's. Totally understand the reasoning for your choice, my logic was very similar (but no diesel and no kids, just a couple dogs)
