Truck has a basic tune from FLP but the trans is still sloppy. 30k miles and mostly stock, but i was hoping it could shift a little harder. was thinking about a vette servo but also read the stock trans comes with one...

how hard is it to install a servo and would this help me out?

 

servo is highly recommended. will greatly improve the way it shifts. corvette servo is good but i would use the superior servo.

 

The stock NNBS does not come with a vette servo. I swapped out mine on my NNBS VMax and had Blackbear tune the tranny computer. There is no slop and no slipping. When the truck shifts at 6000 RPM, there is no slip and it puts you back in the seat. I've got it tuned a little aggressively on the shifts and they are hard at 50%+ throttle. Basically anything loose in the truck is gonna go flying backwards when it shifts. The only mods I have otherwise are K&N filter and Magnaflow exhaust. The servo is easy to install and there are several good how-to's on this if you search the internet.
