Tru-cool bypass
Anyone running this thing? I gets down to 32 and sometimes close to teens a hand full of times here in Amarillo, TX but majority of the time its warm enough to get trans temps up. Is this worth it? I would hate the few times its cold out and driving with that massive cooler and it shifting bad or slipping.

Doesnt it finally start flowing the trans fluid at 180*?
There were a few guys having problems with their trans running over 200* and causing concern so they took them off and never had a problem.
Maybe something you could run in the winter time?

I run the bypass on my tru-cool 40K. I'm in Colorado. I see normal temps of 150-160 driving easy. It never gets over 200 though. It will get up to 180 quickly if I am running hard on it, I guess that's what the bypass is set at.
