What can cause a 4l60e to quit moving from electrical? also what problem would not let the 4l60 move from the ignition? both solenoids off no epc is high line press and 3rd gear. you could have a bind in manual low from electrical or maybe it goes into.lockup at stop which would cause it to die. nothing can cause neutral like symptons though.

either my y pipe is in the way or im just retarded because i spent a few hours last night trying to drop my pan and i couldnt.. it seems like i need to cut the y pipe to drop the pan. any ideas on what i need to do? lol
|
or i wonder if i take the bolt out of cross member and jack the tranny up as much as it will go and i would have enough room for pan to drop down and take out...
|
The headers are connected to the engine.. engine is connected to the transmission.. headers are in the way of trans pan... :D
ive tried that before.. no worky. maybe unbolt your headers and lower them some?? |
Does your trans pan have a drain plug??
if so, drain the fluid in a clear bucket or something... you will be able to see the clutch material junk. |
if you have a stock y-pipe you can raise the trans up enough to pull it, i do it all the time of course im on a lift but its still doable
|
I did my trans filter and fluid change last night for routine maintance and it was easy. No issues with y-pipe or cross member. The little brass pos thats part of the filter was bitch to remove and installing the new one was a pain too but well worth the piece of mind. I also did transfer case, front and rear differentials. Plug and wires should be in next week. Im at 90,XXX miles thats why I'm doing my shit. Let us know what the issue is. GL
