Default TUNED ONLY 6.2's 1/8 times.....VIDS!!!

Me and my brother (LANCE ATKINSON) finally went to the track tonight! Only thing done to our trucks is tuned and exhaust... His has factory 20's and tuned for 93 and mine has the factory 17 tuned for 87... Here is his last run, it's an 8.97 at 78.60 mph with a 2.07 60'.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=70L6B...e_gdata_player The second video is his 8.99 at 78.70, listen to the second gear shift... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa73z...e_gdata_player Next is my truck running a 9.02 @ 78.98 with a 2.11 60'.. Couldn't get it in the 8's but not disappointed running what I did in a 5500lb truck... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsMBb...e_gdata_player. What kind of times are y'all running tuned only??? I didn't know if this was average or faster than avg....

Pretty impressive, those times would be breaking into the 13.9-14.0 range in the 1/4 mile. Can't believe you can pick up nearly a full second by tuning these trucks.

I can because GM's "nanny" programming is there to protect the drivetrain so they can offer a 100k mile warranty.

I was impressed cuz when we had our f-body camaros most people were running 9.0's stock on street tires! Now these tanks run that too!! A converter and u would hurt some feelings!!!

I did a little tuning on mine just removed tq management from the engine and trans and my truck feels a lot better.. Im probably going to run it Friday night at the track and get some times but the ole butt meter approves.. Sadly im probably going to have to get someone smarter than me to go any farther.. The 6 speed only has about 4 million tables lol
