Videos of Circle D 278mm??
I've got a set of tri-y's waiting to be installed and I'm strongly thinking of doing the Circle D 278mm converter at the same time. If you have any videos of this converter, please share with me and let me know if you have a cam or not, I will be on stock cam.
Also, would this be a "wife friendly" stall? This is my DD but also a family hauler that the wife occasionally drives.

Thanks for any help.

I got mine installed last week and waiting on Justin at blackbear to adjust the tune for it so it's hard to say if I like it since I know it needs tuning. It definitely drives way different than a 278mm 4l80e or 4l60e and I've had both. I'm assuming it's due to no proper tuning yet..or maybe these 6l80e Trans are just different animals.

The biggest difference that I hate right now is during shifts at 5-10% throttle is the rpms fall during the shift way down then shoot right back up.. maybe the shift time can be increased or something.... it's kinda annoying lol

With proper tuning, it will drive very similar to stock under part throttle. Shift extensions will be a bit higher and it may take slightly more throttle to move from a dead stop, but otherwise, you won't even know the difference. The biggest difference you will notice is at WOT.
