if the trans broke the pump, outputshaft it wont spin the driveshaft. the problem is in the rear end

i just shattered my 10bolt eaton posi, it happens. gm weak link. building a 14 bolt with a tru-trac to hopefully avoid being stranded on a mountian top again

If you're 360 at the wheels, the driveshaft spins but the truck doesn't move, and you had a new differential/gears installed...then they definitely didn't do a good job. Theres no room for error when it comes down to thousandths of an inch of precision. Backlash, pattern, pinion depth, pinion angle...all must be spot on.

Now the only way your drive shaft can spin without the truck moving is if you blew the TT, completely stripped the pinion, or broke an axle. All of those are next to impossible with 360rwhp if the shop knew what they were doing.

Thank you.... exactly what I was thinking... a shitty install and I'm gonna take care of it today. Kind of want to go back to 3:42s anyways.
