Default VVT Cammed 6.2L

Cold Start

Open cutout

Both are on a baseline tune. EPS custom grind VVT. Needs a converter now.

Sounds good!!! What kept you from removing the VVT and doing a standard cam?

Wanted to stick with the VVT for the phasing "best of both worlds" and to be different. It will be like this for a bit until i decide its not fast enought and then I'll ditch the VVT and add some boost.

The baseline tune has it idle at 800rpms. Need to get the tune dialed a bit more, it idles down to 600-650prms at stoplights and its lean via my wideband. Which brings up a question, where should my AFR be at on idle and driving around? I threw a check engine code on it, not sure why and didnt get to check into it before heading south for work for a couple weeks, but justin at BBP should be able to tell me and get it dialed better.

Stall will likely be a Circle D 258mm triple disk at 3200 rpms, different gears probably wouldn't hurt either.

Pretty happy with it thus far.

What's your idle and cruise AFRs at?
Did you use a phaser limiter when you installed the cam? JW

Yeah its got the limiter block installed. I ran it at 60-65mph and it was 14.5-15.5 afr, didn't get a bunch of lower speed driving before i left town however. Seems to idle at about 14-15, but its still a but volatile jumping up a bit too. definatly not sitting dead at 14.7 or anything. At a stoplight it gets up high though, 16-17 AFR. I'm sure justin can get it where it needs to be with the data log i sent him.
