What are some pros about a vvt/dod delete...doing a magnacharger soon so why not just do a cam also. What would be a good cam for a daily driver and i still want to keep my stock tranny? Its an 08 yukon 5.3 flexfuel

Cam call a sponsor of your choosing tell them your overall goals and how your are going to use the truck and get a cam ground exactly for that. Don't let your cam decision be based off of message board opinions.

theres a difference between dod and vvt. i think you should do some more learning. you can do a dod delete and keep your VVT which is what i recommend. unless you have a crappy tuner maybe go vvt delete. vvt delete will cost more.

but if you is gettin a supercharger youre probly better off going vvt delete as well. not too sure how the two go together

DOH damm my speed skimming.

Only advantage to vvt delete is easier to tune and can go with way bigger cams but vvt is not all that hard to tune anymore for most tuners.
