im curious why you wanna delete the VVT? with some of the newer VVT cams out now it seems like you would wanna take advatage of lower end power to be made, unless your going with a really large stall or something were that isnt an issue.

i pulled my hair out enough doing work on the stock vvt tables with the stock cam. i really don't want to deal with more tuning crap.

the cam swap i want to do will still have low end torque, and cost less than a vvt cam by itself, not counting the cost of the phaser kit on top of it.

part numbers would be awesome! i have searched for 2 days so far on various lsx forums, and part numbers seem to be illusive.

12585673 GM LS1 CRANK SEAL
12591689 GM SINGLE BOLT CAM SPROCKET
12600326 GM LS2/LS3 (Non V.V.T.) FRONT COVER
12591720 GM LS2/LS3 CAM SENSOR
11561283 CAM BOLT (FOR SINGLE BOLT LS- CAMS)

Keep in mind this is for single bolt setups. Also, I am not positive on the part number for the crank seal. I'm not sure if LS1 and LS2 covers take the same seal. I would bet they do. This is literally all you need. I didn't replace a single gasket and have almost 2k miles with no leaks at all. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this. I did it around three weeks ago, so its pretty fresh on my mind.
