What motor?
What converter?
What gears?
All this is needed to help you get what you want. As far as pl4yboy thats chevrolades old cam right :p also that 222/230 cam does work good but i find if it is a "street truck" it needs a little more cam or more heads to make it fly with that cam. As far as on a 55-60 punch it is strong but it also depends on how high you want to spin your motor plus the e.t or mph goal you want. As for someone not wanting to run a ton of gear or converter then that is a great cam for an all around truck. Skoal bandit and i are pretty close and i dont have a cam close to that EPS 222/230. If i wanted to change cams from what i have now i think i would run that 222/230 on a 111+4 or a little more split for the L92/LS3 heads.
212/218 all the way to a 220/224 works great in a 4.8/5.3 with a lot of gear and less converter
222/226 or 224/228 is a good choice for a 5.3/6.0 with a 3200-3400ish converter and 373s-4:30s
Granted a lot of people are willing to run a ton of converter and gear to make up for the bigger cams so its all in what you would call a DD

Id get with Pat G an tell him what you want. Im sure there is a good cam that will push you to your goals.
I run a 228/236 112 its had a best of 12.7 @ 104.95 with a PI3600. It was fun but crap on the street. My truck pulled harder on the circle d 3200 and 3:42s. It was truely a roll race queen with that setup!
222/230 to a 230/238 depending how big of a converter/gear combo you want.
I would think that 222/230 111+4 would work well for you and spin it to 6500-6600 or jump to the cam i have. It pulls to 6800 all day long but ive tamed it down to 6600 and it pulls hard enough

its a 6.0 with L92 heads, so really id like to try something on the 220-222 intake and then jump to a 230-232. a lot of guys have had GREAT results with less split...lets say 4-6* i can think of a CC that has something around that

Pacesetter LT's into 3" collectors to 3.5" Y-pipe and xr-1borla then out back.
True this cam only pulls to 6200rpm but when it's on IT'S ON! But I've just acquired a 6L80e and plan on circle-D 3500 going in for the new year and a new cam at that time. One that turns 6800 easy so im looking at a 226-236 or 226-238 cam! Also at this time I will be putting a 150shot and ARP rod bolts in.
