Water got in my 08 Siverado ext cab!!!

Default Water got in my 08 Siverado ext cab!!!

The dealers thinking its the 3rd break light,seat headliner and carpet got wet. What do u think they will do other than fix the leak.

What are you thinking? that maybe they will check your tune or something? I brought mine in because the drivers side door handle was peeling and they changed it out and thats it. The body shop should mess with it not the mechanic shop so you should be good.

The trucks stock, im not worried about that. I just want to know what they are going to do about the wet interior. I think they are just going to let it dry and want to know if that is the right thing to do.

i think thats all theyll do, but some complaining can get you some more. Just make the argument that its gonna cost you to clean up the mess that the factory defect made so it should be their responsibility to fix it

I wanna a new truck! Sucks, this is my first new vehicle and never thought id have a problem so soon. What kind of free stuff or work can I get.

If you complain a little, they should just replace you truck with a 2010 6.2L CC or a 2010 camaro. Or they might just detail it.

wow....pull the 3rd brake light and just put a sealant anywhere you can without sealing in the actual light housing.

^I replaced the 3rd brake light with a tinted LED one and I used black silicone around it in a thin bead to help seal it. Mine's been parked outside in some serious downpours and holding up fine.
