Question what is the best 14 bolt 9.5" diff to swap in NNBS truck(need disc breakes too)

hello,im on my way of getting my self both new 9.5 diff and custom steel drive shaft befor i get my truck a cam or a 6.0 motor.

i abuse my truck alot and i use it for every thing from DD ,racing ,farm work, ,up to hard core off roading((33-35 tires in the future))

i have always wanted to trade my current 10 bolt befor it goes wheeeeeeeee on me so i could get a good deal by trading it for a 14 bolt semi floater

i found a one out of a 2005 NBS 2500 suburban ill need to pay 500$ + trade my 10 bolt, and it does have disc brakes,
i want to use them well this work? i mean can i convert 8 log rotors to have 6 bolts?
i also need to buy a new 3.42 ring and pinion sets, i want to leave it at 3.73 but i dont know any one that will do a great jub changing my front 8.25 from 3.42 to 3.73

in both cases changing the 8.25 gears or the 9.5 gears what do i need to change with them? i mean parts that are must to change?
id like to do the labor my self i have simple tools (jack stands, jack, metric soket(4-24) i dont own an SAE set among the other tools
what do i need to make it work?

any one have any usefull links?
i already watched ATOM's thread great input !, threads with NNBS are the real thing i need but dont mind any else

any one with a 1500 NNBS with a rear 9.5 please post pics from any angle you can get id really appreciate it

putting it in shouldnt be to bad just measure and measure and measure! get all the specs you can to make sure it will line up like with your leaf springs and shocks other wise if it fits in the right position and the rotors dont stick out of the fender wells, then youll have to move the mounts around for them to fit.. but if your wanting to change the gears it self better make sure you kno some what, about what your doing if not set up right it will whine like a **** or go boom!!

find one out a VMAX truck and it should be a direct swap..

and if you get an 8 lug one you can swap the axles from a 6 lug truck.... (hybrid axles)

the thing is we dont have vmax trucks at all

biggest motor you can get on a none denali half ton truck is the 5.3

and we even dont have diesels any more since 2000(when the good diesel motors showed up)

and finding an american used truck in a saudi junk yeard is going to be damn hard almost imposible

see if the one in the suburban is a 9.5 and not a 10.5. if it is a 9.5 you could get axles with 6 lug hubs. man you kinda stuck in a box... what axle comes in the front of a 2500 4x4?

9.25 is the standerd for aii 2500+ trucks HDs or LDs

im realy thinking about a 2004-2006 2500 6.0 suburbun or yukon xl's rear 9.5 axle

ill try to get the 4.10 with the g80 and change the front ratio from 3.42 to 4.10 i hear that the front is alot easier to "adjust" than the rear one although any thing else with the swap would be harder thanm the rear end.

the big qustion is where can i buy the 6 bolt axles?
i realy wana keep the 2500 oem disc brakes just dont want to spend alot of mony getting 2 axles 2 rotors 2 calibers ....etc that will cost alot

im tired of the rear drums dumb brake power and the not so cheap 200+ rear shoes ( the new damn style with pin hold downs)

if there is a way i can fit my 6 bolt wheels on the 8 lug axle i dont mind making an adabter but the rotors will be stiking out of the wheels and thats going to be wrong and look odd and th wheels will stick out too

so i thought about a none 4wd axle wich will be narrower

my silverado, as do most with the 6.2, has a 14 bolt SF with 6 lug axles. most have 3.42s but some (like my lucky ***) have the towing package with 3.73's from the factory. the VMAX had them as well.

junkyard searching? if you can't find one i'd think 4wheelparts or some other online vendor could get you some 6 lug 14 bolt axles. hell, call Scoggin Dickey Parts Center if you can't find em!

mine came with 3.42s i wish it was 3.73s but man my first gear is short enough i bet you cant keep traction with 3.73s.... i bet it rolls out...
