Anyone heard a Banks setup on a VMAX??

 

I have the magnaflow too and love it, they are cheaper on ebay but I wanted a warranty (the salt on the roads here in winter kills an exhaust) so I got it here magnaflow 16901, or you can try one of the vendors here, they are always running sales/specials. either way its a great system and very easy to install.

Borla XR-1 the short 12" one and go to a good exhaust shop and have them run you a new 3" factory style tailpipe. That's how mine is with a 3" to 4" rolled polished tip. It sounds great even at an idle with a wot raspy sound with little to none in cab resonance. I get complements everywhere I go. Can't wait to here it when I do the lt's with the o/r y-pipe!!!

 

I thought the 6.0's came with dual exhaust back to the muffler from the factory, I dont know if its still like that on the nnbs trucks, but if thats the case then I would just cut both pipes in front of the muffler and run two magnaflows. maybe somewhere between 18 inch and 24 inch long ones and just turndowns after them or right out in front of the rear tire.

 

kooks 1 7/8" headers, no cats 3" mandral bent tubing x pipe true dual setup with dynomax 3" bullets, dumped or run out, whatever you want. best setup known to man...

 

I have the magnaflow with the dynatech headers and y pipe it sounds great.
